Here is an intro to the Music Exchange.

Hello everyone :)  I've had this idea in my head for a long time, and finally I have time to start carrying it out.  I am looking for 8 (plus me which equals 9) people (no more, but could be less) to participate.  The people who do participate will be in the U.S. (for postage reasons) and will be people I know.  This is just a trial to see if my idea works. If it does, then there will be more exchanges in the near future.

I don't know if you're like me~ always wanting to hear new music or different types of music, but never having the money or exposure to do so.  The Music Exchange's aim is to get music out to people for *about* less than the cost of one CD!  Every person will pick one album they'd like to share with everyone else.  It could be any type of music!!  There are no limits.  You will buy the amount of tapes needed (which will not exceed 8 tapes) and record it for everyone and send them off.  Everyone will be buying tapes and everyone will pay for postage (which shouldn't be much since the people will only be in the U.S.) so that everyone comes out even.

The great thing is that you'll get all this music!!!  Instead of paying $12.99 on average per CD just to hear one group, you'll only be paying for tapes and postage to hear many groups!
